PUKAKI
This squad follows on from Waitaki squad. We will take some swimmers straight into this squad where it is more age/skill appropriate. Swimmers are of higher proficiency and a little older than at Waitaki level.
Sessions are now longer and more challenging, and swimmers are now expected to be racing regularly. We focus on progressing skills and technique whilst increasing all round fitness. Training expectation is 5 sessions per week.
Key competitions – MAKOS (Junior NZ Champs), SCWC Junior Champs, T3, T2 meets. Target Competition is Division II
